The only other option I could think of is running the game in compatibility mode, the issue with this is that when I go into the properties menu there is not a compatibility tab for this game, unlike other games on my laptop that have this tab. I have attempted to force it to open in windowed mode using the steam launch commands but I get an error when I use -windowed or -sw. I have run the game in administrator mode and that has not worked either. I have tried reinstalling the game multiple times and that has not helped at all, the same issue occurs. The issue is that when i opened the game again it would zoom my screen in and my mouse cursor would continuously show that something is loading but nothing never came up. I had to close out and reopen the game to get into fullscreen mode so that is what I did. The start menu appeared and I immediately went into the settings to change it to fullscreen mode.
