If you do not want to update the program, add it to the exclusion list. If you want to update the program to the latest version, select the program and click Update. You may have intentionally skipped the update in the last scan. Try running Software Updater after some time. Update has been downloaded and installed. If you do not want the program to get listed in the subsequent Software Updater scan results, add it to the exclusion list. You can click the home icon on the left pane or minimize the window, and continue with your other tasks. Tip: You need not wait for Software Updater to complete the scan or update process. If you had included Windows updates in the previous scan and choose to uncheck Include Windows updates in the current scan, the Windows patch updates are excluded only for the current scan session. If you want Software Updater to check for Windows updates, check Include Windows updates.In the Programs Requiring Attention tab, select the programs that you want to update.
If an earlier scan result is shown, click Rescan. In the Software Updater window, wait for the scan to complete.In the My Norton window, next to Software Updater, click Scan.Open your Norton device security product.
